| Game review: Bae has overslept again! As punishment, she has to go through "The Trials" in this Game Boy Advance platformer! Bae can attack by throwing her die, which can be customized as new die faces are picked up from chests in the game. Placing faces on the die have a cost, and the total cost on the die cannot go over the cost limit, so you have to carefully evaluate which die face to use in your build. Bae's HP and maximum die cost can be expanded by picking up items in the game. Later on she can also gain a skill to throw two dice at once! Cute artstyle and animations. Very large platforming map. I got lost after a while. The game crashed on me when I reached a room with a giant flying skull. Not sure if that was supposed to be the final boss or something like that but up to that point it was quite an entertaining game. The developer has included an emulator that can be used to run the game on Windows PCs. |
