| Game review: Made for holojam #6 in two weeks. Deadbeats are coming with all their affection to Calli, even Death-sensei has joined them! It's up to Calli to push them away using her scythe and by kicking some butt. After each level, there are upgrade options that can be selected to power up the attacks, gain new moves or recover hp. Very nice visuals, with a PSG styled Calli 3D model and very well done enemy and environment models. Calli's attacks feel a bit slow in the first level, but after getting some upgrades it becomes more manageable. A game round goes by quickly, so if you're a Deadbeat, there's no reason to not give it a try! |
